Where?
Hua Hin is situated approximately 25 km south of Bangkok in a province called Prachuab Khan on the western side of the Siam bay.
How to get there?
From Bangkok you can choose to go by train, taxi bus or plane. It will take around 2.5 hours with taxi and cost about 2500 BAHT. When travelling with train or plane you arrive in about the centre of Hua Hin and have a short ride in a local taxi to Pineapple Village.

Hua Hin history
Interesting to know about Hua Hin is that it was established in 1920s and became very popular with the upper-class in Thailand. The kings summer palace, Klai Kangwon Palace, was built around this time and is still the summer residence for the Royal family.
The town has during all this time had a positive development. Today there are 7 golf courses, upscale hotels, fantastic beaches, a temple and other sites worth visiting. Hua Hin shopping mall is the largest shopping center in the city right now but there are soon a lot more to come.
Sight seeing
There are lots of opportunities to se wonderful tempels, parks, waterfalls and zoos in the absolute vicinity of Hua Hin.
The National Parks Sam Roi Yod and Kaeng Krachan are situated very close to the city.
A bit more to the south you find Khao Taluk or Chumphon which are fantastic places for diving and fishing.
Golf
As of today there are 7 golf courses in Hua Hin and its vicinity. At least three more are under construction. Green fee is cheap and you could get a caddie for around 10 euro. It is easy to reserve a time and get out and play. The qualities of the courses are high and they are well maintained.
